San Francisco repair crews busy with influx of potholes after storms

三藩市工務局會在本週六日
開始填補三藩市路上的路面深坑

由於最近的連場大雨
路面已經受到了損毀
出現了大量的路面深坑

根據工務局數據
平時沒有下雨的時候
通常一個月可以填補約350個路面深坑
而在今年二月已經填補了1800個
這次的週末工程會由四組輪班進行
從星期六凌晨四點開始
首先會選平時車流量大的街道
包括19街，相連的Park Presidio大道
和Lombard街等
也會修補通過311電話
接到投訴的路面深坑
因此工務局也鼓勵市民
在週末之前可以報告更多路面深坑
在這次工程中一次填完

為什麼加州的公路
特別容易出現路面深坑呢
這是因為加州乾旱和日照長
路面就容易有裂縫
這些裂縫平時不會影響
可是一到下大雨的時候
雨水就會隨著這些裂縫滲入到地下
令路面變得疏鬆
加上車流量大的話
尤其是如果貨車等經過
就會破壞地面
逐漸形成越來越大的路面深坑
